Progress accelerates at Farmer Crescent social housing project

Since beginning the social housing project at Farmer Crescent, Taitā a month ago, construction of the 18 new units has been moving at great pace.  New stormwater and wastewater mains connections are complete and the main service runs through the site are nearing completion.

Excavation for all nine foundation slabs is complete, with four duplex slabs already poured. Installation of the under-slab drainage is underway ahead of the remaining pours.  The prenailed frames for the first duplex are now standing with additional units set to follow quickly.

With works progressing well and ramping up on site we look forward to the roofing and cladding phase soon kicking off on site.
