Celebrating the early completion of Farmer Cres for Kāinga Ora

The completion of Kāinga Ora’s Farmer Crescent development in Taitā marks a fantastic milestone for the team, with 18 new homes delivered six weeks ahead of schedule.

A few of our team were up bright and early for the 5.30am blessing, a very special karakia led by local iwi, before returning that afternoon for the official opening, complete with ribbon cutting and tree planting by Hon Chris Bishop with the wider team.

It was amazing to be part of the celebrations alongside Kāinga Ora, local council and businesses, neighbours and, most importantly, tenants who will now call these homes their own.

It was a special day and a great way to celebrate what the wider project team has achieved together.

We’re proud to have played our part in bringing Farmer Crescent to life.
