New church hall is coming to life in Cannons Creek
It’s been a busy three months at the the Porirua Pacific Islanders Church of Christ the King redevelopment. The foundations and concrete floor slabs are now complete, the structural steel is up and the timber wall and roof framing are now well underway.
The scale of the new hall is becoming clear, with its high roofline and spaces for the congregation and wider community taking shape. Our next focus is roofing, windows and cladding as we work towards enclosing the building.
Thanks to our site team, subcontractors, Porirua Pacific Islanders Church of Christ the King, and our project partners at Rangzen Pro, Ignite and Quoin for the work going into this important community project. A special thank you to our neighbours at Cannons Creek Primary School and Nuanua Kindergarten for their patience and support as construction progresses and our little corner of Champion Street gets busier.
