Just in time for winter at Taitā site

Construction continues to progress rapidly on the social housing project we are working on with Kāinga Ora with significant milestones achieved across the 18-unit site.

All foundation and structural works have been completed, with roofing, exterior cladding, painting and the installation of all windows and external doors now finished. Majority of the scaffolding has also been removed, revealing the completed building exteriors.

Attention has now shifted to the interior fit-out, where works are progressing across all units. 1st fix electrical and plumbing and insulation is being installed in the last unit, GIB linings, plastering and interior painting is in full swing, while the first units are beginning to receive kitchen and bathroom installations.

Underground services are continuing to be connected throughout the development, with the first units expected to be powered up shortly. External works have also commenced; we have now got the ball rolling on fencing and hard landscaping. Momentum is continuing across all areas of the site, we’re looking forward to seeing the first homes reach final inspection in the coming months.
