A new chapter begins in Cannons Creek

Last month works began with the demolition of the existing PIC House, followed by site enabling works and the commencement of excavation and civil works.

The project will deliver a new, purpose-built community facility for the Pacific Islanders Church of Christ the King, including new foundations, structural steel and timber construction, roofing and cladding, new building services, an interior fit-out, landscaping and external works.

Porirua Pacific Island Church of Christ the King has been part of the Cannons Creek community for nearly 60 years, and we’re proud to be working alongside the Church and project team to deliver a modern, safe and accessible facility that will continue to serve the congregation and wider community for many years to come.

A great project to have underway, with plenty more progress to come over the months ahead.
