From foundations to frames: Kāinga Ora Fantame St takes shape

With 28 new homes across 13 blocks, the site is now a real hive of activity. The last two foundation slabs are being prepared, while pre-nailed frames are going up on the slabs already poured.

The first homes are quickly taking shape, with roofs on, windows going in and cladding underway. First-fix services are also progressing, meaning it won’t be long before the focus shifts inside to linings and finishes. It’s great to see the project moving through the stages so quickly.  A big effort from our Aoraki team and the solid crew of subcontractors working alongside us on site.
