Building Momentum at Drifter – Seismic strengthening well on track
Concrete pours are happening three times a week across multiple areas, and with shear walls going in at pace, we’ve passed the halfway point of the internal strengthening works. The team is fully focused on completing this stage over the next couple of months.
With internal strengthening works complete, attention has turned to reinstating salvaged heritage features and refurbishing the original windows—preparing these levels for the upcoming fit-out. Externally, the new exoskeletal concrete frame has successfully risen from the basement and is now climbing steadily up the building’s façade.
None of this progress would be possible without the huge effort of our concrete and carpentry crews, supported by Acrow Limited, Russel Placements Limited, Multicivil Contractors Ltd, ReoFab, Podium Concrete, Higgins Concrete, and Highrise Group.
