With a background spanning construction, project delivery and high-performance sport, Sam brings a strong focus on leadership, teamwork and creating environments where people can perform at their best.
Sam coordinates the day-to-day delivery of projects and works closely with the wider project team, subcontractors and clients to keep things moving safely, efficiently and to a high standard. What Sam enjoys most is the people side of the role – bringing different teams together, solving problems as they arise and making sure everyone understands what needs to happen to achieve a successful outcome. His experience in high-performance sporting environments has also shaped his approach to construction, particularly around communication, accountability, preparation and continuous improvement.
Outside of work, sport is still a big part of Sam’s life. He has a strong background in rugby, including playing Manu Samoa 7s and coaching at representative and high-performance levels. These days, much of his spare time is spent coaching, developing young athletes and supporting the next generation.
