Our health & safety champion, coach and mentor has a practical construction background that enables him to really connect with people on all HSE matters.
With 33 years of industry experience as a carpenter, Site Manager and Project Manager, Chris understands the importance of creating a strong safety culture backed by practical, effective systems. Chris believes that keeping the team safe is all about people, attitudes and positive safety behaviour – supported and backed up by robust systems and processes, and an understanding of the legislative environment we are operating in.
A ‘superpower’ of Chris’s is connecting withthe team on a practical level to ensure that work tasks are well planned, safe work method statements are clearly documented, implemented and continually reviewed. With Chris’s support it means our team can go home safely to their whānau every day.
