As we got into the swing of 2025, we got stuck into this new project involving the weathertightness remediation of the gymnasium facilities (old and new gym, changing rooms and sports administration area) at Tawa College.
This project involved removing existing cladding, investigating the condition of the substrate, remediating structural framing and replacing the cladding to make it all as good as new. A small amount of structural bracing work was also completed in the old gym.
The completed project provides two gym facilities that are operated by the school and Wellington City Council.
