Hall Upgrade at Te Kura Māori o Porirua
Another project almost complete; Te Kura Māori o Porirua gym hall upgrade. We’ve recently installed these panels of Māori art, created by the tamariki they really breathe life into this hall!
Apart from installing the art and strengthening the hall, the upgrade also focused on updating the school amenities to allow for a broader range of students, with a focus on physical accessibility (new lift for access to stage, accessible and universal bathrooms) to cater for students with physical disabilities and visual awareness aids for vision impaired students.
The hall was refitted with new sound absorbing ceiling tiles and sound absorbing flooring while also being refitted with new power, data, sound and lighting technology. We can’t wait to see the school community put the hall to good use!
