It’s all action stations at Herbert Gardens between Levels 7-13
We’ve been busy across Levels 7 to 13, the stairwells, the 3 riser shafts, and the entire building exterior.
Asbestos removal has made it down to Level 8 and is ticking along nicely. Structural works are all done on Levels 13 and 12, with
Levels 11 and 10 not far behind. This should be wrapped up in the next couple of weeks. Window and concrete apron repairs are
ongoing too, making a big difference to the building’s overall weather tightness. Levels 12 and 13 are starting to really take shape,
with finishing trades and services fit-off underway. We’re on track for first residents to move in next month, which will be an exciting
milestone!
Thank you to The Building Intelligence Group, Studio Pacific Architecture, Spectrum Engineering, Holmes Fire, and Michael Stretton Limited
for their collaborative, practical problem-solving so far and coming up with clever solutions to the little surprises that we have come
across as we work on this 60 year old building.
