12 weeks in at Herbert Gardens
We’ve been on site for 12 weeks and it has been all go at Herbert Gardens. With around 45-50 workers on site each day, we are (so far) affectionately known as the ‘noisy neighbours’ and have been generously treated with scones, muffins, and cheerful waves from the many
patient residents still living inside the building.
We are now fully scaffolded from Level 13 to Ground, across all 4 elevations. A great effort from Workzone Scaffolding. Window
remediation works and exterior painting is well underway, despite increasingly wet and cold conditions. Inside, asbestos removal is
progressing well, as is demolition, and structural steel installation.
Reinstatement work on Level 13 is about to kick off, and progressive handovers for re-occupation will commence in late July.
