Our team were excited to set up site at Wadestown School and settle into their new home for the coming months. After a slow start to the project coordinating asbestos removal with weekends and School holidays, the team were able to get stuck into demolition to allow structural and carpentry works to begin. Scaffolding was installed around Rata block which was wrapped, this enable the roof replacement and skylight installation to be carried out without being impacted by the Wellington winter weather.  

 

Our team are excited to be working with Wadestown School and the Board of Trustees, Team Architects, Gaze Consulting, and the Ministry of Education to Transform Rata Block for teachers and students to enjoy for many years to come.
